October 23, 2025 – At the 27th China International Mining Conference, Huawei hosted the Mining Industry Smart Micro-Grid Forum , bringing together experts and industry leaders to explore sustainable and intelligent pathways for the mining sector. HAC Smart participated as a key contributor, advancing low-carbon transformation in mining through innovative energy solutions.

Amid extreme winter conditions of -40°C in Mongolia, the successful delivery of the MAK Solar-Storage Micro-Grid Project demonstrated HAC Smart’s technical expertise and execution commitment in supporting mining companies’ low-carbon transition.

The project, contracted in June 2024 and connected to the grid by April 2025, was completed in just eight months—significantly shorter than the typical two-year timeline in Mongolia. Through continuous winter construction, synchronized multi-site advancement, and resource allocation exceeding standard manpower by over 20%, HAC Smart overcame extreme weather conditions and rapidly established a stable, clean power system for the client. This achievement notably reduced energy costs while maintaining a record of zero safety incidents and zero rework.

To ensure on-time project delivery under an aggressive schedule, HAC Smart implemented meticulous controls over critical processes. Leveraging Huawei’s technical support in key equipment such as PCS, UPS, and SACU, the company conducted full integration tests prior to shipment, thoroughly validating system feasibility and device reliability. Furthermore, in response to limited local logistics experience, HAC Smart utilized its extensive international project expertise to perform advance route surveys and develop detailed customs clearance and transportation plans, ensuring all equipment arrived on site safely and punctually.

Upon the successful commissioning of the Mongolia MAK Project, the client has provided highly positive feedback on the construction quality, project efficiency, and professional expertise demonstrated by HAC Smart, and has expressed strong interest in further deepening collaboration with both HAC Smart and Huawei.
