Mauritania Border Rural Network Coverage Project
Provision of 2G/4G network coverage to rural villages in the Sahara desert region of Mauritania.
The Mauritanian government is planning to build microwave stations at the borders in order to improve remote coverage, secure the borders with Senegal and Mali, and to sense epidemics in advance. The project is currently divided into three phases, the first phase is the border of Mauritania and Senegal, the construction of 49 rural-star network base stations, the second phase, the third phase covers the border of Mauritania and Mali, a total of 110 rural-star network base stations.
After the completion of the project, it will provide 2G and 4G network for Mauritania border residents, and at the same time improve the security of the Mauritanian border, further improve the political stability of the country, and safeguard the economic development of Mauritania.
